Vondelpark Apartment

A beautiful Amsterdam apartment near Vondelpark, with generous windows, original floors and plenty of architectural character — but an outdated white kitchen that felt cold, impractical and disconnected from the rest of the home.

I designed a bespoke oak kitchen with a natural stone worktop, completely reworking the layout and relocating the appliances to make the space more ergonomic. Carefully selected lighting fixtures add warmth and create a layered, elegant atmosphere without making the kitchen feel overly coordinated.

The result is a kitchen with character, warmth and a sense of permanence — designed to feel as though it had always belonged there.
