Family House in Breukelen

This spacious and cosy house in Breukelen had plenty of potential, but an expensive renovation wouldn't have added enough value to justify the investment. At the same time, it felt too outdated and plain for a young family to fully enjoy.

We decided to take a more thoughtful approach: combining a few significant changes — a new kitchen, a new bathroom and beautiful flooring — with smaller decorative interventions, using colour as our most powerful design tool.

Where it mattered most, we invested in quality: the furniture used every day is comfortable, beautiful and built to last. Where we could save without compromising the overall result, we happily chose IKEA.

The house was already warm and welcoming. With the right balance of investment, colour and carefully considered details, we turned it into something much more distinctive — a home that feels beautiful to live in and continues to impress everyone who walks through the door.
