1991 Civic Tech Center is located in the heart of Ukrainian capital to inspire civic tech startups and communities with location, space, connections, acceleration programs, events, and each other.
In a strict budget and limited to three months deadline I’ve managed to successfully accomplish this project working from abroad with the help of one associate in Kyiv.
Working on an incredible location and with neat corporate colors, we have managed to create a beautiful working space for over 60 people with three meeting rooms and an event space for 100 people.
Although budget, noise cancellation, and ergonomics of the space were our priorities, the place turned out very beautiful and photogenic
A small cafe (~50 sq.m.) designed both for lunch meetups during the day and fancy drinks in the evenings.
My focus was on creating different experiences and moods in different zones of the place. Now we have a coworking table in the middle, cozy tables for two along the concrete wall, comfortable dining tables for four, and a lounge zone for chilling late in the night.
The competition for the cafes in this area is big, so it was important for this place to stand out. We thought of the space as a number of photo zones and instagrammable backgrounds. Unique tableware was also designed for a cafe
A restaurant in Manhattan I was working on with an American designer Aaron Kirsten in 2017. The restaurant has two floors and a bar on each.
An incredible experience of working with a talented experienced designer and having the freedom to develop my own ideas and solutions. Studying Mexican culture from scratch and integrating it into a fancy New York bar atmosphere using materials from all over the world made this project one of the most enthralling in my career.
A tiny cafe in Kyiv city center serves coffee and lunch during the day and turns into a busy bar in the evening, so the design is balancing between two completely different moods
Show booths for farmers’ markets and festivals for a gorgeous cheese farm in Toronto.
The farm travels to different locations with its delicious products, so I had to develop a bunch of easily extendable combinations of booths that could be mounted quickly together and content all the appliances and workplaces needed for various foods.
