A coworking and events space in the heart of Kyiv, created to bring together civic tech startups and communities.

With a strict budget and only three months to complete the project, I worked remotely from Amsterdam with one associate in Kyiv. Together, we created a flexible workplace for more than 60 people, including three meeting rooms and an event space for 100.

Budget, acoustics and ergonomics were our biggest challenges, while the distinctive corporate colours and incredible location gave us plenty to work with creatively.

The result is a space that is highly functional, energetic and — perhaps unexpectedly — very photogenic. The lighting in particular became one of my favourite elements, with photographers regularly commenting on how beautifully the space worked on camera.
